Anna Cooking Class
About us
Our cooking classes are a heartfelt journey into the authentic soul of Tuscan cuisine.
If you’re looking for professional chefs in tall white hats, you won’t find them here.
There are no electric mixers or food processors in our kitchen—only hands, wooden spoons, and passion. Every dish is crafted the traditional way, just as our grandmothers taught us.
Under our patient and constant guidance, you’ll uncover the secrets of local recipes passed down through generations. From the savory Crostini Neri to hand-rolled Pici topped with ancient white ragù—made long before tomatoes arrived in Europe—you’ll cook, learn, and laugh in a warm, family atmosphere. And to end on a sweet note, you’ll prepare a classic Tiramisù or a fragrant apple pie with homemade vanilla ice cream.
Our classes are not just about cooking—they’re about living Tuscany through its flavors, aromas, and stories.
Our Story
Il Convivio di Anna e Stefano was born from a deep love for genuine food, good company, and the Tuscan way of life.
Our home—an ancient building lovingly restored in harmony with local tradition—is where we welcome guests from all over the world to share a piece of our everyday life.
What began as family lunches around a big wooden table became an experience that now connects people through the joy of simple, handmade food.
Every class is a celebration of what truly matters: the pleasure of cooking together, sharing stories, and savoring the essence of Tuscany.
Private Cooking Class
For one day, our home will become yours.
Our kitchen — lovingly designed to welcome friends and guests — will feel like a familiar place where stories, laughter, and aromas come together.
The recipes passed down from our grandmothers will become your own: tagliatelle with a rich ragù, potato and guanciale tordelli delicately flavored with sage from our garden, and hand-rolled pici with Valdichiana garlic sauce.
To finish, indulge in a freshly made tiramisù, a golden Valdichiana apple pie, or our traditional autumn dessert — a sweet memory to take home with you.
Program & Menu
You will be welcomed with a platter of local cured meats and cheeses, accompanied by a handmade focaccia, artistically decorated and full of flavor.
A glass of Tuscan wine will be the perfect way to awaken your palate and begin your experience.
Under our guidance, you will learn to make Tordelli filled with potatoes and pancetta — starting from the fresh pasta dough made with flour and eggs, to hand-sealing each tordello with care.
